Rules and Policies

Welcome to the Wall! To keep everyone safe, happy, and climbing with confidence, please follow these guidelines. Think of them as your climbing compass, follow them and the fun just keeps going.

Check in First
All climbers must check in at the Climbers Corner desk, not Head Over Heels (that's the gymnastics side). This is how we know who's climbing and make sure everyone is safe. Once you walk in the front door, kindly leave your shoes there and walk down the hallway. We're located in the back corner.
Waivers are Required
Every climber and belayer needs a signed waiver. If you're under 17 years of age, a parent or guardian must sign. Filling it out ahead of time is easiest, but you can do it when you arrive.
Respect the Gymnastics Area
The gymnastics family is separate. Please only use it during their operating hours and with their supervision.
Food & Drinks
Kindly keep all food and beverages off the carpets. Chalk and snacks don't mix!
Friendly Language Only
Save the profanity and inappropriate language for outside the gym. Let's keep our space positive for everyone.
Ropes are Not Swings
No swinging, jumping, or using ropes like a jungle gym. Ropes are for climbing, not playtime (although every climber would say that's the same thing).

Climb Sober
No drugs, alcohol, or tobacco in the facility. Climbing under the influence is not allowed.
Gear Care
Report any damage to equipment or unsafe conditions to staff immediately. Treat our gear like it's your favourite tool (that keeps you alive)!
Shoes & Chalk
Only proper climbing shoes on the wall, street shoes are a no-go. Use chalk responsibly. Please keep it on your hands, not the floor. But if it falls don't stress. Our mini climbers will come help us out.
Bouldering & Fall Zones
Stay in designated fall zones, check below before jumping or dropping, and land softly on mats using proper boulder fall/auto belay technique.

Harness & Belay Checks
Always do a harness, knot, and belay check (ABCs) before climbing. Ask staff if you are unsure!
Play Nice & Support Each Other
Treat fellow climbers with respect, follow instructions, and ask questions if something isn't clear. We're all here to have fun and stay safe!
